Rebecca is a graduate of the world renowned Newark School of Violin Making. After gaining a BA (Hons) degree in music at Colchester Institute, she went on to study the ancient art of Lutherie in order to pursue her dream career in making stringed instruments. Rebecca plays the viola in North Devon Sinfonia and as a player understands the needs of both student and professional alike.

She specialises in fractional instruments making it a priority to source the right sized instrument for younger students in particular.  She has close links with local schools and teachers and runs "String surgeries" at local ensembles when required to offer advice to individual players.
